Here at Normanton-on-Soar we offer a high quality learning experience with qualified, experienced and committed staff.

Our aim is to ensure that your child is part of a secure, caring and happy environment.

We believe in a strong partnership between home and school to encourage your children to become confident, enthusiastic and articulate learners.

We welcome the opportunity to work with you to support your child’s development and learning.

We use Read, Write INC for our phonics teaching and start this in Nursery to prepare the children for starting learning to read in Reception.

Owls class is our mixed unit for Nursery and Reception age children.

Owls class is a safe, bright, lively place where the children play and learn together.  We use good quality equipment and materials in an environment that is encouraging and supportive. Your child is getting a wonderful opportunity to explore, discover and develop.

The staffing includes a qualified teacher and a teaching assistant qualified to level 3.  We have staffing ratios of at least 1 adult to 13 children for the nursery children.

Morning nursery is from 9am – 12pm

Lunch Club for Nursery from 12.00 – 12.30pm – payable for the session and a hot meal if required.  Children may also bring in a packed lunch from home or go home for their lunch.

Full Nursery session available from 9am -3.30pm with lunch club payable to bridge the gap between morning and afternoon sessions.

Reception is from 9am-3.30pm
