Pupil Parliament October 2025
Autumn walk around the village
Wow. What an amazing experience for KS2 today by having Steven Mullaney (former Notts captain) visit to teach the children some cricket skills! They loved it!
Toys past and present workshop for KS1 with Partake – great fun for all!
Starting with the earliest and simplest toys in this carefully structured session, we look at their evolution through Victorian times to the present day, exploring and handling the various materials used, their methods of manufacture and an understanding of what is old and new.
With an opportunity to play, we compare and contrast how different toys work and move before being delighted by some ‘rib-tickling’ clockwork toys of our grandparent’s generation!
Cricket session with Max from Little Wickets.
We all had a great time and are looking forward to after school cricket club starting in November!
Visit from our local police officers to teach us how to stay safe.
Drone Workshop November 2025
We had a Drone experience this morning, flying through hoops and making shapes in the air! The children managed to use algorithms to help program the drones and send them around the hall.
We also had the chance to ask questions to an aviation software engineer who had flown drones up to 90mph. We also discussed how we could use drones in the future.
