At Normanton, we understand the importance of instilling a love of languages. Languages open many doors in life and help develop an understanding of different cultures. 

At NOS, our French lessons are always creative, challenging and enjoyable! The staff will always being encouraging and supportive while the children learn a new language.

We use a scheme called Language Angels to support teaching which is full of topics which are both interesting and relatable for the children. Each lesson is full of rich vocabulary and many opportunities for children to develop the four key skills of learning a language: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Learning another language can have huge benefits to children’s memory, their problem solving skills and their understanding of the world, as well as being fun! A good knowledge of French will provide children with a solid base to support them in learning of other languages if children go on to study different languages at secondary school.
